Eileen Pappas is a knitwear designer from Athens, Greece. After graduating from Brown University with a degree in architectural studies, she attended medical school in Budapest, Hungary. Realizing her passion for fashion design she moved to New York City and completed the BFA program in Fashion Design at Parsons the New School for Design. Over the course of her studies, Eileen completed a variety of professional internships at Donna Karan Collection, Stoll FTNY, St. John Knits, and Gigi Burris Millinery, and produced freelance knitwear projects for Billy Reid and Simon Miller. Her greatest honor was winning the 2012 CFDA Geoffrey Beene Design Scholarship Award. Since graduating, Eileen has worked as a designer at numerous brands including White + Warren, 1.STATE, Ellen Tracy, DesignNation for Kohl's and Daisy Fuentes.
